Funhouse Pinball Machine
True to its title, the Funhouse Pinball Machine is titled after the Funhouse, a walk-through arcade with many attractions The FunHouse has a talking doll head near the top right corner of the playground. The head, called Rudy, reacts in real time to in-game events, such as notifying the player of special rewards, mocking and taunting the ball, and it hears as the one who follows the ball when it is hit on certain goals, there is Ed Boone, the technology behind Rudy’s face movement What Williams called “pin-mation”. The overall theme of the game is an arcade, where the player assumes the role of a tourist to visit the attractions. The main goal of the game is to advance “game time” to midnight and close the FunHouse, allowing players to initiate multiball mode. The second goal of the game is to uncover and complete all the trails of the “Mysterious Mirror”, starting with the “Super Frenzy” trail. The game ends when the player has lost all balls, including newly acquired balls. Each objective and ramp has a name and function following the funhouse theme. Aside from Rudy himself, the highlight of the game is a virtual clock in the center of the playing area, which advances the current time in five-minute increments with each successful shot When the clock reaches 11:30, it stops moving forward and the game announces that the FunHouse will close in thirty minutes. The winning shot on “Hidden Hallway” closes the current ball and advances the clock to 11:45. Again this shot hits the second ball and advances the clock to midnight. Rudy then falls asleep and his mouth remains open – to initiate multiball, the player must throw a ball in front of Rudy. When at least two balls player can score a Jackpot by shooting the Trap Door next to Rudy while it is open. When multiball mode ends, the time resets to an earlier “opening” time, and single-ball mode continues as before
